Oasys Toric contacts are now available as the next evolution for astigmatism correction from Acuvue. They offer improved oxygen permeability, wetability and handling over the previous generation of lenses. Oasys bifocals were introduced in early 2009.

Keeping competitive, Ciba has introduced their Air Optix for astigmatism, nearsightedness, and farsightedness as an improved upgrade to the older 02 Optix. Ciba has also added a lubricant to their popular 1 day disposable Dailes to reduce drying and improve comfort -now called Dailies Aqua Comfort Plus.

We fit many bifocal soft contact lens designs. The initial response has been great for people just starting with bifocals and better than previous designs for more advanced presbyopes.

Daily disposable contacts have been very helpful for patients with hectic schedules, allergies, and dry eyes. These type contacts are great for part time contact lens wearers who want a comfortable trouble free lens available for special occasions, camping, vacation and sports.

The Airoptics Night and Day lenses are available for up to 30 days of wearing time. These super permeable lenses may solve some problems if you are always falling asleep with your contacts on or have difficulty with your insertion or removal technique.

Rebate coupons may be available for Ciba, Acuvue, Freshlook Colors, and Bausch and Lomb disposable contact lenses. If you purchase your contact lenses at Wal-Mart, be sure and ask about special pricing for a years supply. Also, check the manufactures Web site for coupons.
